Overview

UKM Expo 2022 was an event of introducing activity units are available at campus to new students. This UKM Expo is expected to serve as a platform to showcase the existence of UKMs at ITS as a place for self-development through shared interests and talents.

Project Goals

This website was created to support UKM Expo event by providing features such as :

• Responsive Event profile to show new students any information about UKM Expo 2022
• Main event's registration page which is a music concert with Payung Teduh as the guest star
• Admin dashboard to view main event's registrants, review payment proofs, and verify it. Upon successful verification, e-tickets will be sent to the attendees via email
• Scanning e-ticket barcodes page to check whether attendees's ticket valid or not

Tech Stack

The tech stack was used for Frontend are Next.js, Tailwind.CSS, TypeScript, and Axios. And for Backend are Laravel and MySQL.

My Role

As a Head of Website Development, I led a team of 4, including a UI/UX Designer, Back-end Engineer, and 2 Front-end Developers. And here are my contributions for this project :

• Coordinated with multiple divisions to gather and define website requirements, including ticketing system flow, participant data storage, and pre-design templates for the UI/UX team
• Set up frontend project repository using Next.js and TypeScript
• Implemented responsive merch page for UKM Expo event profile and including 3 reusable components that is used across pages
• Implemented a multi-page Register Page UI and ticket registration API integration via Axios. This effort culminated in the successful development of a reliable website for 6000+ participants
